Australia put on a strong batting performance to defeat India by four wickets in the opening T20I on Tuesday in Mohali.
Hardik Pandya (71 not out) and KL Rahul (55), who were given the opportunity to bat, both produced brilliant half-centuries to enable India score 208 for six.
Cameron Green who opened for australia put the visitors on the back foot with his 30-ball 61 before Matthew Wade (45 not out off 21) guided them to victory with four balls remaining.
Australia took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series with the win.
