South Africa won their second match of the Women’s T20 World Cup by 65 runs against New Zealand, a victory which put them back on track after losing to Sri Lanka in their opening game. England also won their second match of the tournament, with 18-year-old Alice Capsey’s rapid 51 from 22 balls setting up a four-wicket win over Ireland in Paarl. This result keeps them top of Group 2, while South Africa remains third in Group 1. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals.
